The Royal PalaceBuilt in the 18th century is the official residence of the King of Spain.
The Descalzas Reales Monastery A convent located right in the heart of Madrid. It has been a place of solace, prayer and art since the 16th century, when it was founded by Princess Juana of Austria.
The San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts MuseumLocated on Alcala Street in the heart of Madrid, currently functions as a museum and gallery. The academy was established by royal decree in 1744.
